Visit the Musée Héritage Museum and discover the St. Albert History Gallery that explores why people were attracted to this amazing place and how they built a thriving community. Our feature gallery changes frequently, giving visitors the opportunity to see travelling exhibits as well as in depth aspects of St. Albert history. Please visit our website MuseeHeritage.com for details on current and upcoming feature exhibits. The Musée Héritage Museum is located in downtown St. Albert and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sundays from 1 pm – 5 pm.

From the museum take a short drive, or follow the trail over the footbridge and along the Sturgeon River, to discover the St. Albert Grain Elevator Park. Our interpreters will take you on a guided tour of two of Alberta’s provincially designated grain elevators, the 1906 Brakman Ker Elevator and 1929 Alberta Wheat Pool Elevator. Complete the experience with a visit to the 1920’s replica Train Station where you can try your hand at Morse Code, see how station agents lived and why the railway was important.
The St. Albert Grain Elevator Park is open seasonally, from Victoria Day to Labour Day, from 10 am – 6 pm Wednesday to Sunday each week.

Experience what it was like to go to school in a two-room schoolhouse! Step back in time with a visit to the Little White School where our classroom takes you back to 1948, when the school first opened. The Little White School is open year round for school programs, birthday parties, tours, meeting space and pictures.

The Musée Héritage Museum and Heritage Sites are accessible to all and admission is free.

Watch for special events, such as Historic Walking Tours, Canada Day, Harvest Festival and activities for children on our website throughout the summer months

We look forward to seeing you in St. Albert!
